backing up data files to dvd

What is the best software for burning data dvds to backup important files?
Freeware or shareware would be ideal, but if necessary i can buy.

Well Ive always had a good experience with nero but its not freeware but it comes bundled with most drives.

oh how i love Nero, i recently formatted my server, and found an old (really old) copy of nero, put her in, burned a disk, bam same as the new stuff, only less eye candy (and it would only burn at 4x, hahaha).
