i did some research...
looked up a program called mobile meter

this is the description:
MobileMeter is a system monitoring utility designed for laptop PCs running under the Windows environment. It can show the following information.

· CPU clock
· CPU temperature
· Battery charge/discharge rate
· HDD temperature

wish it would show something about the graphic card.. but whatever :P

I had a lapcool3, wot a waste of money that was.
Confirming my waste was this article I found, which I should have read before purchase:
http://reviews.pimprig.com/cooling/v...ook_cooler.php

**Edit
Those sites for Mobile Meter don’t work, most link back to that poor jap Geo page that’s had one too many visits..

Try this German site with it’s own dl space
http://download.freenet.de/download....ad=MobileMeter

Thanks for the heads up, however, it's in German? How do we understand what we download?

I don’t speak german either, but there’s a button called “Download Starten”.

Don’t know if any other tosh users had luck with it, but it cannot recognize my M740 proc. Strange why Toshiba don’t make their own utility, they have always been a leader in system utility software.

Intel aught make one for us, if they don’t already??
im going to snoop about, should not be that difficult to make one of these aps.
