Ferrari 4002 upgrade

Hi,

i write from Italy and i've a Ferrari 4002WLMi on my desk. I have some questions about it. The first one, is it possible upgrade cpu ?? For example if i want upgrade to ML37 or MT40 is it possible ??? The second one, anyone have service manual fro Ferrari 4000 series or knows where i can find it ???

do a search for the manual, it's been posted in these forums...
processor updates have been discussed on these laptops too, in these forums as well...

Other people on this forum have ugraded ferrari processors, hard drives and ram.....need to do a search....as far as acer, you can't believe those front line hosers

it is possible. the FR4000 series all use the same mainboard. you will just need to buy the processor and make sure you have an up to date bios. hard drive is not a problem either. about the only difficult and costly upgrade would be to change out the screen as the FR4002 came with a non glossy, and lower resolution screen.
