Aww come on, relatively speaking its a great deal, they're going for over a grand on Ebay. I'm not selling water and MRE's in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina for triple their cost. Its a friggin console. Its not a necessity, its a luxury item. If someone wants to pay double the price to own one then fine. If they decide to wait till more are available they'll live.

As for the lowballs, whenever I've posted something for sale like my Chembook I made a point of stating that lowballs are welcome but don't expect a reply.

Anyway, as morally unethical as u seem to think this for sale post is, I haven't broken any forum rules so its all good.

You know what, this is by far the easiest $500 I've ever made in my life. I seriously have decided to get me a couple of PS3's when they are launched next year so that I can Ebay them.

It has a much larger following among all the consoles out there, and since its coming out much later next year, Sony will most likely have enough time to trick it out and really give the Xbox a run for its money. It'll also give the developers time to create games that can tap into the full potential of their new CELL chip.

If its as revolutionary as all the hype thats been coming out I might keep one for my nephew but man alive, this console mania is INSANE.

it really is, lol, i've seen hearts broken over not getting a 360 on launch day. a friend of mine reserved one this august w/ gamestop and they called him last week to tell him they were only recieving 15 premium sets... he was 26th on the list back in august! and now they're getting sued...

Check out the amount of feedback of those users paying more than around $1000 for the eBay auctions. That's right, they're all at zero and will never pay. There's a big discussion on IRC about people who either disagree with all the buyers buying multiple systems to sell, or people who just couldn't find one. They're registering fake eBay accounts and bidding these auctions up to astronomical levels to waste the sellers' time and money. I mean think about it, why would someone really pay $2000+ for the system when there are literally thousands of other auctions with Buy it Now prices of less than half that? It's pretty obvious what's going on.

That said, I wish you luck with your sale, and the systems have definitely been fetching around $1000 from legit buyers, but anyone who believes people are actually paying $2000+ for the system is delusional.

if you told your kids you would get them one and didnt yet, you will pay whatever, its a good deal if you are desprate. i wish i had gotten 3 or 4 360, i would make some money. didnt think it through

put it on ebay now dude. avg. price has gone over $1000. lol just saw one go for $10,000.

just write in bold 'will not ship outside u.s, and definately not to africa', but some of those mugus cant even read. and definately no 'buy it now'. just put it up there for bidding and let the fun begin.
