Did Hyper get the Fx7 stuffin yet? My ship date still lists 12/8 which does not seem possible if Hyper does not have the laptop and graphics card in.

As far as I know, the ship date is correct. To find out if parts or anything have come in, you'll need to speak with your sales person. They would know better than I would.

I called in and someone gave me the bullshit line that they do not tell customers when parts are not in (well, first she said she did not know, then I asked to speak to someone who would know so she said they do not give out that info). Hyper has been honest about delays dues to parts not being in up to now. She then proceeded to tell me I am in the building phase which means Hyper has all the parts and it will ship by 12/8.

I hope I spoke to a new person because this totally contradicts my experience with Hyper.

Update: Now Allison from Hyper says my chassis is painted ? but the motherboard is still being tested but has not been put in yet?

This does not make sense to me? Help.

Third edit of this post: I called Smooth Creations (I am looking into them painting my AW as well) and they have not received teh chasis from Hyper . . .maybe it is better to just not looking into what is actually happening . . .like Mulder and Skully said "Plausible Deniability". I am being told one thing by one branch of Hyper and then totally contracted by others giving doubt to any authority.

I want to believe . . .the truth is out there . . .

From the information I was able to gather your chassis will be painted before the parts for your system are due to come in.

Ok. So I guess the parts are not due to come in yet. As long as Hyper ships me an uber sweet and sexy rig on 12/8 I am a happy camper of short stature.

i would think that it is a bit of a short time frame... looking at what you just said i might think you could be in for a delay DB and concidering that AW isnt shipping theirs till january and all...

that was my thought. I was hoping they would either confirm one way or another.

I agree that you're probably in for a wait, especially if SC hasn't even gotten your chassis yet, but keep in mind that AW might not be the best comparison. They are rather known for their slow processing and shipping times when it comes to laptops.

hyper from what i have read is not super fast either......
