Hi guys,
I need to be able to drive two headphones at the same time so my girlfriend and I can watch DVD's when travelling on the train. As most already know the audio level out of most laptops is pretty low for headphones.
From what I have gathered the original Echo Indigo PCMCIA card (not the newer Indigo IO or DJ versions) had two output jacks. Can anyone tell me if these outputs can drive two headphones simultaneously? I know the DJ version has two outputs but only one of them is for headphones - the other is line out only (afaik).
Sound quailty is not as important as just volume (given a moving train is about as acoustically unfriendly and noisy as it gets).
I have investigated Headroom Bithead amps but that seems silly to add another box where a single PCMCIA card would be ideal.
