Hey guys Im getting my bluetooth chip for my 6000d and I was wondering if youc an run more then one bluetooth device on it at the same time? If you can whats the maximum amount of devices you can run at the same time? I'm wanting to get a bluetooth keyboard and mouse combo and some bluetooth headphones. Will I be able to use all of these at the same time with no external bluetooth device? Any reccomended bluetooth mouse / keyboard combo and bluetooth headphones is greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time for all of the help.

Not sure what version of BT the chip is but in order for you to do that the chip must be BT 1.2

Five to seven at a time on your TM350.

I love the Bluetooth IntelliMouse and also use a Printer and GPS on my TM300 (BT version 1.2).

i think as long as the BT devices that you plan to use are not using the same BT Stack then you should be ok. (ie. 2 head phones or 2 different BT mice)

not true, you can connect up to 7 devices...that includes two of the same devices like two mice. to verify all this, my current bt receiver on the desktop is a logitech that comes with the mx900 mouse keyboard combo. i currently have the logi mx900 mouse and macally btmicro mice, the logi bt keyboard, motorola hs850 headset, motorola razr, and my laptop all connected via bluetooth to my desktop. that is six devices. i'd try to connect one more, but I do not have another BT device currently with me. i have also tried the six (switch desktop to laptop) using my laptop (700m with 3com pcmcia bt card).

I was not talking about quantity of devices but rather, using multiple devices of the same connection (ie. 2 BT phones, 2 BT keyboards at the same time). When I tried to connect 2 BT phones (Moto V600 & SE T610) to my notebook via BT, it would only connect to 1 at a time. It would recognize both, but not connect to both simultaneously for OBEX transfers and other BT functions. I guess it depends on what specific devices you are using. I just assumed it was that way with the mice too. My bad, sorry.

It could be because the client software's Bluetooth service(s) being in use by one device is not required by other devices, so connecting 2 phones at the same time might not work as they were "fighting" to connect to use the same services offered by the client software.

if you noticed, i wrote i have two mice running at the same time. the logi mx900 and the macally btmicro. works fine.

the issue you had with your two cellphones is program issue. you are trying to use the same program (obex) for both cellphones as Esquire wrote.

it's because it is using two separate processes. for a receiver/hub you can use up to 7 devices, however, if you are trying to use the same processes to do the same thing, you are going to run into resource conflicts (i.e. trying to use obex at the same time with two devices).

MX5000 w/ MX1000 Bluetooth Laser Mouse "Quick Sleep"

After giving up on Logitech ever introducing a Bluetooth Laser Mouse,
Got an IntelliMouse for less than 1/3 that cost and it runs on 24ยข
a month worth of AA's.

Absolutely love the response, speed and accuracy as well as its portability.

Install was easiest possible plug & play using onboard Bluetooth and ALPS Control Console.

For gaming, some have complained about the "smooth" feel (no clicking) of the wheel.

For my Right Hand, this is the most comfortable control device I could imagine

Now that Logitech has finally brought out their "All-Terrain" Laser version,
research shows that it would be un-suitable for my use.

As does the IntelliMouse, it "Goes to Sleep" to conserve its batteries,
problem is that it does that after just five seconds.

IntelliMouse gives you eight full minutes (480 seconds) before going to sleep on you,
so this is never a problem while using.

Five seconds to sleep is much, much too quick for comfortable use.

Now I shall await Logitech's next generation.

yah i had thought about the intelimouse actually. I honestly do very very VERY little gaming so I wouldnt have a problem with the no clicking. Where can I get that mouse for the cheapest. I've hered I definetly need the newest model of that also and not the old one. Let me know where to get it for the cheapest. Thanks. Oh yah and if I decide to get that one I will need to pick up a keyboard as well so if that mouse doesnt come as a set what kind of bluetooth keyboard options are avialble?
