I certainly hope not...I would be laughing too hard at his haircut to actually do anything

Did you fry your Ferrari or something?

Since the original poster is no-show, I'm sceptical about this whole thread. Aww... and I got my hopes up. *sniff!*

Hey dude! If you are out there lurking in the background, and have actually done the deed you claim you did, give us _more_ proof, will you? I'd really hate to spend $$$ to a new CPU that doesn't even work with F3200. Peace!

to be important ^^ or to push his cpu shop *lol*
post #36 of 67

You must be right

Yeah, I'm starting to think so too. Maybe he owns a CPU shop and the merchandise was just collecting dust on the shelf. I can almost see it in my mind's eye:

"Hmm... what to do? These things aren't going anywhere. Now I know, there must be scores of geeks which are frustrated with their ageing Ferraris..."

Anyway, Merry Blody Xmas to you all!

Hey guys,

Sorry for the loooong delay. Work has just been driving me crazy and I at the end of the day, I just haven't had time to run more benchies. I can assure you that both a 34 and a 40 have worked with my 3200. There is no reason why I would post false information (and no I do not own a shop or anything).

As far as the PCMark bench goes. I downloaded the basic one and when I ran it, it does not give me a number. Do I have to have the Advanced version in order to do it?

I downloaded Sandra so i'll run those numbers and get them posted.

As far as where I bought them, I got them from NewEgg.com. I was actually thinking about buying another 3200 off Ebay and putting in the 34 that I still have in that one (if I ever find the time).

Stability has not been a problem and as far as battery life goes, I use mine as a desktop replacement so it's plugged in pretty much all the time.

I did do the upgrade to a Hitachi 7200 Travelstar, and that speeded things up BIG TIME. I haven't gotten around to pick up the 1GB of ram yet, so I still need to get to that.

I can post up screen shots of Sandra. I copied and pasted the "results" from the PCMark2005 that I ran, but it didn't give me a number.

Be back soon.
Thanks for the patience fellas.
Merry Xmas.

Ok...Here's a couple of shots from the Sandra Benches.

The full shots are located here:

I'll see if I can get some other ones.

Ok...So i've never done SuperPI before, so I have no idea what the numbers mean.

In a nutshell it says:

1M = 42s
32M = 38m 09s

If you want to see the full resolution, click on the link above to go to my album.

What other benches? Also, someone let me know if I need to buy the full version before I can get a score out of PCMark.

Thanks and Merry Xmas!
