What's Up everybody This is one big arse forum COOL I 'm going 2 be getting my first notebook soon and have some questions that I'll be ask'n here and there. I've done a lot of freak'n research but some things can't be answered by research alone So that's one of the reasons I came here So I'm gonna go and check out the other threads, forums etc.... Keep a look out 4 me so I can get the best help I can and I'll do the same 4 everyone I can.

Welcome, it's a giant forum with a lot of unbiased people. I'm glad a lot of people come on here to check out systems from many manufacturers. Some people think Dell, Sony, Apple and Compaq/HP are the only ones out there. What's wierd is that none of them make their own products.
Also, you're not limited to the low budget systems being sold at your local store. Not all laptops have bad resolutions and cheap plastic-y parts.

So, what kind of laptops hav u been looking into?

I gotta get a new laptop too and I've been looking into the Acer Aspire 3000 because im on a really low budget. ($800 max )
