Thanks!
You probably didn't do it right. You can't just select DPA as your payment option at first and get the discount. You have to choose to pay with a regular credit card and when you go to the next page there will be a DPA offer bubble box at the top of the page that will offer you a 2% discount if you pay with DPA and you click on that and go from there to log into your DPA account or create a new one.

30% all gone boys.

The warranty on the 9300's bought through EPP transfer ownership just like any others right? I still havn't decided if i'll keep the 9300 i ordered this weekend or not cause i already have an XPS 2 and i'm thinking i might not like the looks of the 9300 cause of the white trim and all. And yes i know you can mod the caseing and all but i'm not going to go to all that trouble.

heh, if he ordered one, then he should know that these discounts are not MIRs. they are instant discounts that show up immediately after you put in the coupon codes.

anyways, no harms done, we all got a good deal! happy holidays to all of us.

Okay all, I have been so close to getting a 9300 or XPS for what seems like forever now, and I finally pulled the trigger on a 9300 about 10 minutes ago (how cool is it that the first thing I did was come on NBF?) I got pretty much the standard setup as everyone else

2.0ghz
1 Gig Ram
6800
XP Media edition
blah blah etc etc

I also added the sound blaster card, and got the free all in one printer, out the door was $1550, thats with tax and shipping, using the 30% off coupon, the $200 coupon, and my 12% epp deal. So for all those wondering if the coupons still work (someone posted a few posts up the 30% doesn't work anymore) I can confirm that they do.

I used

JH31NP82zv8k2k 30%

Z22$QGT5CW$$L8 $200 off

The best part of all this is what I am upgrading from - a 4 year old inspiron 2600 with 128m ram, 1.4 celeron

Think my new machine will be just a bit faster?

So one more thanks to all on the forum who helped in my decision without even knowing it, you guys rock

For the next round of insane savings...

Hey I dont see these EPP coupons posted on any of my dell-coupon sites, so if any of you recieve these coupons can you post the 30% off or above ones in this thread?
I missed out on this deal (complicated) but am wondering how often EPP coupons come around. Obviously I dont recieve them, so if anyody would be kind enough to post them here.....

2 orders just made... coupons still active.

Great price

2ghz w/ 6800, 2gig ram, loaded the rest = 1600$~

1.73ghz w/ 6800, 1gig ram, loaded the rest = 1300$~

Including Tax and Overnite Shipping... will keep you all posted on the order status.

If your work has a Dell Preferred Account... I would agree with the others and just put in the name of your Company. Should work just fine... did for these orders.

That way it'll pull ur info up. Its strange. the first one is the bad one. The second pic is the good one where u check order status after u sign out of the dell account.

Hope that helps. Tell me if it works or not.

Using the link from your confirmation email, enter the order number and change the second box to your zipcode and use that. That is the only way it would work for me. It know show mine is in Boxing!

Ya does anyone know a site that posts EPP deals/coupons? Everywhere I look its only Home and SB.

Thanks!

It worked... thanks. I guess you can't use the regular site and login to your account.

P.S. I was going thru looking at the DPA discount question... it seems that if you choose DPA right away you won't get it. You want to choose a CC payment method first, then you'll get a banner offering an extra 2% off if you Get/Use a DPA.

Also... the 30% code is still functioning as of 355am ET 11/28/2005. Maybe anything after 1159pm will get cancelled but it's worth a shot. Dell's website updates between 5-6am ET from what I've experienced.

Just wondering if anyone knows the clockspeeds of the 6800 in these laptops? And do they have 12/16 pipes?
woohoo the status of my order is "in rout to local carrier"

Halcy81, they are base model 6800 cards in the 9300. I would reason to guess they are running Nvidia reference clock speeds. Just Google the 6800Go and you'll see the default timings/speeds.

noesis, congrats.... guess we'll see who gets theirs first.... I got overnight shipping!!! =)~
