I'll put it like this ... If you have the money and can afford it, at least jump on the $750 off. Last time $750 was around ... Well, I can't remember. It was sometimes during July or August I think. So when your mom returns, try and see if the 47% is still available. You can allways cancel the $750 off deal, if the 47% off is better and you'd like to take advantage of it ... Hope everything works out great in the end.

I have been trying to build and buy a laptop on the Dell site since last night, but when I click on configure, the site has been down due to techinical difficulties...? How are you all accessing the site to order a laptop?

This was my discount. 48%, and I didn't use the 2% dpa, I get 1% from my CC and didn't want to mess around with another card

Unit Price: $2,002.00
Sub-Total $1,033.23
Blev, what laptop are you trying to order? I can link you to its web page on dell.com and see if that works for you.
Can I use my $750 discount instead of the $200 one?

Yes, give me the link please. Trying to buy a 9300. Thanks
post #37 of 426
Can I still get all those discounts if I order it over the telephone?

OK guys here it is again...

Start here: http://www1.us.dell.com/content/topi...240&l=en&s=eep

1. Get the discount code that corresponds to the expected price of your order (before discounts), then "Start Shopping (link)"

2. Click your way to the 9300 or whatever inspiron of interest. I start with the 9300 option on the far left. When you select customize it should take you to "Select Warranty & Discount"; select the "Better" to get the 12%; then select "Customize"

3. On the second page "Services & Support", on the Warranty options change it to the 3yr (subtract $194); in the next option box you have to select "No security subscription" or you'll get a config error.

4. Finish out the options to cart. Enter the discount code from step 1. Enter JH31NP82ZV8K2K for 30%.

Couldn't get the DPA to work but everything else does as of right now.

good luck!
