Yes, I sold my last EPP i8600 and everything was transferrable. The 4yr warranty definitely helped resale value.

FWIW, The computer I bought through EPP was $650 cheaper than the equivalent through home with the $750 and $100 coupons applied. I think thats worth it.

My understanding is that you can use EPP if you or a relative or a friend works in one of the sectors served by EPP.

So with EPP, you get 30% off, 12% off, 2% off, -$200 EPP coupon, -$100 EPP Christmas game coupon....if so, dman that's honestly a lot better then the 750+100 deal.

Its my understanding that the EPP Holiday Regift Coupon does not stack.

There is a stackable $25 off that is floating around, though.

I got 30% off, 12% off of that $200 coupon, $25 coupon.

And yes, it works for college students.

You don't need them. Go to www.dell.com/epp/

There is a drop down to say which segment you're in, and you're off. It never asked me for proof.

If you want to get one for sure, and get in before the deal is gone, I recommend spending the $4 to get one on eBay. Its worth it...

That looks like a pretty sweet seup. I paid $1250 for the computer in my sig; and it only has a 730 CPU, no DVD-RW, only 256 MB RAM, and a 1 yr warranty. it was 5 months ago, but still.
