108Mbps Wireless Storage Routers

Thread Starter
I was looking at the AirPlus Xtreme® G Wireless 108G USB Storage Router DI-624S and the Netgear 108 Mbps Wireless Storage Router Model WGT634U. From what I saw the only advantage the D-link had was 2 USB ports on the router for hard drive access. The Netgear had a better firewall and security features, is more user friendly and also include an atheros chipset. I went ahead and bought the Netgear with the hope that I could use a USB 2.0 router to connect two USB external hard drives. Does anyone know if this will work or am I stuck with one hard drive per USB port?

I just bought this today and I am on break from college I am hoping to find out if I need to return it and get the other one before I go back. By the way what are your personal experiences with Netgear and D-link which do you think is better quality?

I have 4 of the dlinks at home and they work great with my gamelounge router. I prefer dlink over netgear personally anyways.

I updated from a di-524 to the dLink di-624s with storage and it needs a reboot every couple of days. I also haven't got the storage thing working, as my external drive is NTFS and I haven't converted it back to FAT32. dLink's tech support lied to me in a pre-sale e-mail and said it supported NTFS, and it don't. I should have bought another di-524 @ $20.00....
