Anyone know who makes the 15.4 LCD"

I was wondering if anyone knows if Hitachi also makes the 15.4" LCD for Alienware. The reason I'm asking is because I currently own the 16.1" and am not satisfied with the DVD playback quality. The picture is very grainy even after making overlay adjustments and using powerstrip. If it's Samsung I would sacrifice the extra real estate for the better picture quality. In addition does anyone know if Nvida has better DVD playback on the Alienwares. I know that the Radeon 9600 kicks butt in games but if the Nvidia 5700 that's being released soon is comparable to the Radeon 9700, I would change to them.

I think Hitachi makes the WXGA and WSXGA+ 15.4" screens. I've read elsewhere that Samsung makes the WUXGA 15.4" screen, like the one found on the Dell 8600.

There are some preliminary tests that show the ATI 9600 still beats the new Nvidia 5700 Go chip. You can find some tests at www.extremetech.com.
