ya know i've been on these forums for a week or so now but i can really understand why people are fed up about the constant monitor debate. i get my i9300 on monday and unless it has a BRIGHT white screen when the desktop is black i'm going to be happy....that's all i'm worried about. the sparklies....well i chalk it up to people's vision. i know a few people that just can't work on LCD screens because of that exact issue.....ANY LCD screen. SEEMS like it's a global issue and in my line of work we'd call it a "won't fix" because there's nothing you can really do about it....especially when joeblow over in cali seems to have no probmes yet at the same time jerkyboy on the other side of the states says he can't stand the screen.....and the cycle repeats itself all over the place.

personally i'm REALLY looking forward to getting my i9300 and on monday and when i get it i'm going to wipe the drive, install counterstrike source and have fun popping heads.

I like my screen I just want to know the brand

Also I do have some light leakage at the bottom of the screen but only on black backgrounds. The whole bottom of the screen has like a white blur coming from the bottom of the screen.
slitko, I'm in the same boat on both counts - no idea what my wxga+ screen is and a white blur of light leakage. Have you had any joy with either?

you can't choose which lcd to get but you can always complain about your lcd and make them change it then hope to get a samsung that time !!!

LG here and no sparkles. I have very good vision. They do not exist on my screen. My light leakage at the bottom of the screen, went away with time.
You will probably find the same thing.

I got the Samsung TrueLife WUXGA and two (2) beautiful light leaks. One on top and one on bottom.
