As the title says, this updated my 5720's Toshiba SDR6572M from "TU04" to "TU05." You can check you firmware in the "Details" tab under the drive properties after the long line of underscores.
The notes say, "This firmware enables the SD-R6572M to read DVD-R dual layer and DVD+RW 8x media."
