You mentioned in your first post about writing and drawing. It may be that a Tablet is the best choice. Some of which can be gamed upon. Others of which can be bought very cheaply on eBay.
Does a small, cheap, light long lasting lappy that you can then sync with your gaming beast make more sense? The cost would be about the same as an XPS/5720.
You could, for example, get a Compaq TC1100 on eBay for a grand, and a kickass desktop for $1500 and be better served.
I have a 17" laptop which I love. But it is a hassle. Big. No battery. Obvious. When I can, I take the tablet with me.
I agree. Tablet PC's dont really come to peoples minds as a viable solution much. Maybe one of those might help you more than a standard laptop?

I'm not saying Sager or anyone has better support than Dell. You're the one who brought Sagers support into this, not I. Most of us know not to order through Sager, whose support is unfourtenetly lacking, especially lately. But as long as you have a Sager resaler like PCTorque or Powernotebooks help you, you'll get excelent support.
I'm no Sager fanboy. I ordered my 5320 because of the video card. I'm one of the few people who actually use the extra 128mb VRAM. Search my posts, I recomend Asus models much more than Sagers. If asus had a 256MB video card in a 15-15.4in chassis I would have ordered that one.
I'm not trying to argue or insult or flame or anything I'm just stating the facts. No offence is meant, but I believe we should continue this in personal messages, as to not pollute the thread.
PS: to anyone, please excuse any bad grammer, spelling, typo's etc. I've been awake way too long.
