Ferrari 4005 and Aspire 9500

How are these notebooks for gaming, portability, and battery life? Also how is Acer service? Here is more of what I'm looking for.

The 4005 is pretty much good for everything, i use it for work (matlab, office, compilers etc...) and games (Doom3, farcry 64, BF2). It doen't have any trouble running anything. It's the best notebook i've had for a long while and I'm very pleased. As for battery life, i get around 2hours 30mins for general work usage an about an hour 30mins for gaming. I've just taken the battery out however because i general use it as a DTR.
