Free backup program

Before my system gets loaded with too much programs, I would like to make a backup of my hard drive (image?). So if I get a virus or something I ran revert to my backup without installing windows, drivers, ect. Is there a good freeware program to do this? Does the built-in 'System Restore' already do this for me to a certain extent?

I can't think of any off the top of my head, you might want to try a search at download.com for software that has a free trial period though (although the functions may be limited).

Windows has a backup program called 'NTBackup'. It isn't installed by default in XP Home. I posted something about it in this thread: http://www.notebookforums.com/showth...light=ntbackup
