Well, as one who is receiving a new 8600 today, I'm encouraged by the comparison. I'd like to see the 8600, equipped with the ATI 9600 128 MB card, as is mine, used in these tests. I'm most interested in the 8600's WUXGA screen and would be willing to absorb the slight/moderate performance hit if the screen is as good as advertised.
