7620 Upgrades.

Hello, i've noticed that the 7620 is no longer of the pctorque site. However, i bought one. And i wan't to know if i can upgrade my current video card (6800 Go), to a 7800 Go? And if so how much?

(WHY? Because i like to run games in 1900 x 1200, because thats the optimal display, no need for aa/as, runs beautiful. But the Geforce 6800 Doesn't cut it in some games.)

The 7620 is no longer sold by PCT.

You could probably only get it swiched to the x800. Sager cant offer the 7800 as an option for yours. The motherboard doesnt support it.

Mobo as in bios? Or what? PCTorque may not, but does Sager, or another 3rd party?

Is there ANY WAY to get a 7800 Go in this?

That laptop cannot support the power requirement or the cooling requirements of that card.

Looking at your signature...it might not be able to cut it because of the lack of ram also. Unless you've upgraded to 1 gig or higher since you bought it.

That'll help a lot too. 512mb doesnt cut it for some games now.

yeah get ram but you might need the service manual as it is under the keyboard
