Sorry guys for the lack of updates! Thanks Tridge for spotting a new vid-card driver. It seems that AW's ftp site is down, hopefully they bring it back up soon so the drivers are available for download.

wtf?

has anyone had issues installing the sound drivers on their 7700s? the last time that i tried to update i removed my audio driver, rebooted, and prepared to install the new driver when my computer began trying to find 56k modems like crazy. from there it went bsod and in the end i formated the thing.

i remember having this problem before, but somehow managed to install it the correct way. i don't know what method i used, but i'm obviously doing something wrong now.

any advice?
before installing those new audio drivers extract the exe first and then you will find a folder called "MSHDQFE" delete that folder and the run "setup.exe" you will no longer get all those modems showing up.

I got the same errors as you and by searching around on these forums and over on sagers forums I found this solution.

When this happened to me i got blue screens of death and had problems even booting up to fixe the problem. finally i formatted and have always deleted that folder after every audio driver update.
