Does anyone know if the 51m 766 15.4'' uses the same bios drivers as the 7700? I wanted to check for a new bios driver and the alienware list of computers does not list the 766. Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

Every motherboard is different. I would NOT flash a 766 with 7700 BIOS, it will most likely fail to boot afterwards.

Hmm. dont know lol
I open the Rar and found in there something:
32Bit
Microsoft Windows 2000 miniport driver 1.00.1.39
Microsoft Windows XP miniport driver 1.00.1.39
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 miniport driver1.00.1.39
64Bit
Microsoft Windows x64 miniport driver1.00.1.41

The Raid is for install Vista or XP. If you reinstall XP or Vista, you need a raid driver to see the Hdd..

i understand mate...i have media center 2005 installed so if i were to do a format and fresh install i would have to install raid...i was suprised to see a raid update since they havent updated it in along time...

I found this Raid driver somewhere on the Internet. The people who wanted to install Vista, necessarily needed a Raid drivers. Because of this, I have posted.

It appears that the "Atheros Wireless Driver (v 7.3.1.109) [6/11/2007]" isn't on Rapidshare anymore?
Nor is the "Gigabit Ethernet Controler (v 6.63) Vista Driver x86 (v 6.18) [19/01/2007]", however I'm going to be using "Vista Home Premium" & since the chipset is not 64 would I need the Vista x86 driver?
Because the note below the driver was "WinXP 64 and WinXP Driver"...?
Does that mean the driver works for Vista 32 & 64 bit or it's just 64 bits driver?
Cause if that's the case then I can just use the XP version correct?
