Problems with brightness while running on battery

when im running on battery and turn on the brughtness it wont go all the way up as high as when im running AC, how can i fix this? ive tried looking into the power profiles and "notebook hardware control" but i cant find a way to get passed this battery/AC brightness system. any know how?

unless you manually force the brightness to go up everytime using the function button and thats not enough try going into the display properties advanced section and there should be an option there to force the contrast and brightness bars up

That's not a PROBLEM, but a feature of all laptops to conserve your battery life.

DO NOT go into properties and change brightness and contrast as someone here suggested.

Go into your BIOS and change a setting there that says something about enabling LCD battery saving mode.

That's it, but don't try to increase the brightness setting manually when it's already on max after doing this or it will dim it again, until you restart your laptop.

uhmm ... sounded just like a solution for me but it didnt help. even after disabling LCD battery saving in the bios (and checking that it was saved in the bios) im still able to see LCD brightness lower when i remove the cable. what now?
