It's funny how people knock Windows when they in fact don't even know how to surf te internet responsibly. Just 'cause Mac doesn't have the same levels of spyware and viruses coming on it only means one thing--the makers of these infesting programs don't think most visitors have Macs.

The more people have them, the more of them there will be.

I haven't had a virus or spyware since I found out about those things existing, 'cause I knew how to protect my PC and didn't click on the stupid links or visit the spyware infested porn sites.

ABF is right. Linux FAR better then OSX.

Also, here is something interesting.

I have had a gigabank harddrive that I loaded games on. What happened was when I plugged it into a computer that didn't have the game, "autoplay" would run, then after searching for it and the drive couldn't find it, the drive would disconnect itself. Nothing, no trace of it anywhere on the computer, no way to get to it what so ever.

So, I thought... I'll plug it into a mac!

Tiger, 10.4.3 doesn't even recognize the drive, not even in disk utility. So, I open group policy for the local machine (gpedit.msc) and I disable auto play. Boom, my gigabank works great!

Pshhh, no one needs windows!

I'd just be supporting the economy by going out buying a new gigabank and be thankful for my 10 times overpriced mac.

Yayyyyyy!

I'll buy a mac, the day they come with something that's more then itunes, iphoto or "i" anything.

So, instead, go to google, type in Linux. Get access to more distros that will work circles around ANY Mac OS.

Although the Mac OS is nice, it's just it doesn't compare. I will admit I own it, that's because I own Mac, Windows, and three Linux distros.

I will say, I am trying to use linux more then anything else!

Also, when is windows $250?

Fine, i'll go with newegg prices.

ive used kompose in KDE, an expose clone, and while it is nice, alt+tab is still better.

there was discussion of an alt-tab, kompose hybrid for KDE 4, but im not sure if that actually went anywhere.

as for the powerfull apps,

sorry, but appleworks is a complete POS compared OOo. if you have linux, use digikam and then come back and tell me iphoto is more powerfull. and then itunes, again, use amaroK. there is no competition. amarok just pwnz not only itunes, but any mp3 player available for windows too.
