I wrote them an email yesterday asking them if they did have them in yet. However, my opinion is that they don't have them. I figure Hypersonic/Eurocom/Sager/etc. will get theirs all about the same time. In a mail from a couple days ago, Eurocom stated that they will be receiving their first order (25 units) on Friday
or Monday (and the fact that I got that much was an oversight as I received forwards of in-house mail from the president to the CS rep). Also, I figure that PCT's waiting to change their site for when they actually
have the units on hand vs. how everyone else is basically taking orders in advance.

The 8790
is the D870P. Same thing. Doubt you're going to have an option for a floppy. Although, that probably depends on who you're dealing with (in the case that you actually want one, that is). For example, in customizing a 4780 through PC Torque, I don't see anyplace where it mentions the ability to have a floppy drive. I think it's a card reader by default that's installed by PCT. However, the same model at a store here in Sapporo, Japan has the floppy w/ no option of getting the card reader. I would imagine that the 8790/D870P will be the same; if you want a floppy instead of a card reader, you'll have to email the different resellers and see who might offer that in lieu of the card reader. That's my personal guess on how it is, so don't take it for law.
