If you call the 800# you may still be able to get them to take $60 off 500.
With cancelling the $74 installation, brings it back to $375 total.
No tax in CT and they usually can be talked into free shipping.

I'll try canceling the install after I receive the board.

He'd be like What in Tarnation!?!?!?! And everyone has a misconception about their 3-4 year warranty. First try to find out more about your warranty as to which of the 3 is it? I have the On-Site repair, which means a third part tech shows up to my door with parts. So if I computer let's say had a motherboard failure a dell tech would come over and install the mother board. And my local techies are cool. If I tell them I just want to trade parts at the door, and they can be on their way. They are happy with that because it's less work for them, so we just trade parts and they go on their marry way. I've already done this with a Keyboard, Touchpad, Harddrive, and Videocard. I'll do LCD in the spring.
