If you reference the following article you will see what I mean. The link is about a Pentium M Dothan (older core) with the 400 mhz bus. Now they have 533 bus, and pci-e 16x graphics to boot and even the old Dothan was good for modern games. I think definately 2.0 Ghz if you want good gaming performance with a decent price in a Centrino model.
