Anyone knows what this lappy is?

As far as I know, Targa doesn't manufacture laptops, still I wasn't able to recover the original OEM for the following:

It's a 17'' Turion 64 notebook with ATI x700 128MB. I was intrigued by the relative slim size of it. I searched clevo and Arima sites, but still no clue. Do you know the OEM?

Looks like MSI's MS-1036 which is due to hit the US very soon.

Found it. It was indeed an MSI, but the exact model is
megabook l715

Interesting... especially if you already have a mobile athlon 64 you can "cannibalize"... eh eh... I wonder how much will the barebones version be...

MS-1036 is the US model number. Barebones price will probably be around $1100-$1150.

ahhhh thatìs why I only got info in german! lol thanks for the info.. surely 1100 for the barebone is not cheap, at least compared to the 1300 Eu of the complete package with cpu ram and hd... mmhhhh

I don't know, but some countries advertise with hot chicks, and I guess others with fat guys with their shirts off.
