When will sager come out with BIOS update for Sager 3880?

I just wanted to say that Sager 3790 has different BIOS updates as well as the higher end laptops of Sager. However, i haven't seen one for Sager 3880. Will sager come out with one for the 3880 version? Would we be able to control the fan speed or utilize max power when on battery?

Sure would be nice to be able to crank the fans up. Maybe it would help with intermitent freezing problem mine has!

Yes, that would be nice. I experience intermittent freezing sometimes as well. Also, does it take you a long time to boot up the laptop? It takes me at least 2 minutes or maybe i just have a lot of programs installed. I am thinking of upgrading my 80 gig hdd 5400 RPM to a 100gig 7200RPM, but i am not sure if there is a major speed improvements. If it clears up the sluggishness at some point while using the laptop, then i think i would upgrade. My friend has a m700 from dell and hers is running very smoothly, even though it's a 1.6 GHZ cpu as compared to my 2.0. I feel that mine is not as fast.

I've got the 7200ROM/60GB unit and it boots in less than 30 seconds. I would imagine the extra RPMs play a role in that.
