aw sentia ... agp 4x ... Intel® Extreme Graphics 2 technology

Thread Starter
so you cant play ANY games with this video card? i was talking to a AW tech guy, he told me he was playing call of duty on the sentia and it was fine. if you can play call of duty cant you play some other games? the video wont be GREAT but it will be GOOD right? any specs on this video card its a agp 4x and it takes ram from onboard the motherboard, can you UP the ram from the bios? any info on this card will help and your experinces thanks!

the fact that it uses the ram from the mothor board is a sign of a not so good gameing computer

you have to rember that the computer also has to use that same ram even when the game is runing to do other processes so if you have processes that need more ram at one time then the game might lag. but if you have
vram (Video random access memory) it will use that and the vram will be used only for the gameing or processes that the video card will run.

You can play CoD. My 5680 will stomp you tho.
Well they had to make at least one product that the old 5680 could stomp on.
lol, I can stomp your A51's too.Well not stomp, but at least be neck and neck with them, until you guys can upgrade to the 9700 mobility and gain 2 more FPS in games than me.

My 5680 cant compete with the sweet looking case of the A51 though

*stops bothering AW owners*

Wait whats that? Oh yea its a 16" screen, and its on my Aw51M!

*stops bothering Sager owners, and thanks them for the use of their totally awesom forums.*

15" is enough for me on a laptop. I would have gone with a 17" widescreen model if i wanted bigger.
This guy next to me at work has a 17" Toshiba, what a dog! He should have considered another brand.

If you check out on the sager forum the people with maxed out 5680's have to run Halo at about 1024x768 to play it good. The AW owners can play it at the full 1600x1200

^ LMFAO!!!!

That, my friend, is pure BULLS**T

My desktop, a 2.8ghz P4 B with 1 GB of PC2700 ram, a 7200RPM 120GB HDD with 8mb cache, and a 9800XT cant even do that.

NO ONE can play it at 1600x1200 at full settings. NO ONE.
Well I did on mine and many others here that have AW's.
Theres no way a mobility 9600 can beat a 9800XT. If my 9800XT cant do it, your laptop cant, end of discussion. I can get about 25FPS in 1600x1200 everything full/on, but 90% of Sinple player is under 10fps in that res.

The sager and the AWs are the same except for the case, and the fact AW uses a module of the same card that the Sager has. SAME parts. SAME performance. Just because its an AW doesnt mean its better than everything else.

Not sure if you are aware Mech, the desktop specs link in your signature has porn pop-ups. This forum is crawling with kiddies. But then again these kids in the gaming scene have been exposed to a lot of haxor sites full of it.

Are you serious b/c I have never noticed b/c I always have a pop up blocker on. Well I guess I have to type it out again and post pics when I get it.

I have played Halo with everything maxed out on my laptop that I had. The only time I ever had to lower a setting was when I started playing against the flood. I only had to turn the specular off and put the sond on medium.

Shows what faster ram, FSB and CPU can do for you, doesn't it.

Put a 3.2 C and PC3200 ram in with the approriate MB (and get a 16mb cache -or two raided) and it should soar. Vidcards can't run faster than the CPU asks them to.
