whups, you know what man, I think i quoted the wrong post on that, I was trying to quote one of the ones where everyone says you need a dual SLI 7800 GTX and it still wouldnt run at that resolution and stuff. Not you john, that is why my reply doesnt really make sense for your post.
I was just trying to let people know that even if it has enough power to run the games at that resolution, odds are almost no games will do it. and the 7800 GTX is very powerfull @ high res, like I said i got 55 FPS on doom3 @ 2560x1920, and that was even in linux, on my geforce go 6800 ultra, i only got a little higher @ 1920x1200, and that is more than double the resolution. I know I could easily run counter-strike source at that resolution on a 7800 GTX if cs would do it. I currently run at the max CS allows, which is 2048x1536, and I am usually in the 110-170 FPS, i get like 130 FPS on the stress test, I used to only get 90 something @ 1920x1200.
