most of the horror stories on this forum is plain bullshit so relax If you read the e-mail AW sends you after you ask for it to be send in for repairs, they GUARRANTY it will come back fixed. If you read the forums at support.alienware.com you will find one maybe 2 guy who said it came back broke. Just shows you how many bullshiters their is on this site They probably don't even own a AW People on the support.alienware.com forum ALL own a AW Also most people do something very stupid with their AW laptop, they play a game for X amount of time then put the computer in standby or turn it off, that causes heat damage because the fans stop running...

Some admit to their 'abuse' so they can get to the bottom of their problem efficiently, some will deny forever. You're right, some ain't got an Alienware machine and act like they do with some big CS/TS/Sales horror story. They show their ass eventually...we have some great moderators and some very savvy AW/non AW owners here.

That's the only thing I don't like about this forum. When someone comes on here to talk about problems they had or are having with AW People have to blast them, call them names and tell them that they don't even have an alienware. If kitty posted a review at zdnet...so what. Are people not allowed to share opinions? My grammer sucks and my spelling isn't far off but "By the way learn how to spell to kid, your grammer bites!" should be more like this: By the way, learn how to spell too kid. Your grammer bites! I paid 4 grand for my M7700. I liked it the whole 6 days i got to use it before the motherboard sizzled. since then it's been at AW for almost 3 weeks over something that takes a half hour to replace. I really hate talking to thier CS because I can hardly understand what they say. I'll be happy with my Aw if it works good for a long time when i get it back but right now i'm not impressed. I just shared my opinion about my Dealings with AW. So you might as well tell me how I never even bought a AW and that i'm a troll with nothing better to do than to try to bring alienware down. I'm not totally disappointed in aw. I just believe in the right to state my views without getting bashed about it.

my grammar does bite. I already said that. i'm not skeered to admit that. but i'll be the first to let someone know they have bad grammar when they cut someone else down for it. My m7700 never even seen as much a bed sheet. My m7700 didn't over heat. not one bit. It had a bad motherboard. The 7800gtx actually stayed pretty cool. I'm not against AW. When i get my lappy back I'll post about how satisfied i am that they resolved my issue. I'll explain what i liked about it and i'll explain what i didn't. i'll do it with misspellings and bad grammar and i'll love it. i'll confuse a few ppl with faulty commas and lower case letters. but i won't cut ppl down because their stuff breaks and they're not happy about it and decided to write to this forum about it. I thought that was what this forum was for. a place you could go and tell people about your alienware experiances. I guess it's not though. cause if you don't say i love AW or AW's the best ppl call you a sack of sh*t, cut down your grammar or tell you that you shouldn't put your m7700 on a bed when there is no reason for it.

Kittys computer problems, but if she writes about them here she's a sack of sh*t and must not really own an alienware. how i must be stupid enough to put my $4000 laptop on a bed. I had it bad in my younger days. I used to have to walk 7 miles to school up hill with no arms or legs. I used to use a branch for a crutch with my teeth. I can roll around pretty good now though.

I believe that a1i3nw4r3 (Kitty) is working with Alienware support to resolve the issues with her system. The only way we will get an update is from Kitty. so we can only hope that these other comments dont stop her from making an update. maby its related that we have been having trouble in these forums by people that do take the time out of their day to post false issues and other things that are meant to make Alienware look bad. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with using multiple forums to discuss Alienware systems. Its very important that people keep there information updated because there are a lot of people that depend on using the net for information and it becomes half truth if every complaint appears final but in reality is currently unresolved or not updated. An owner that has had complaints and posted them through out the net may currently be completely satisfied with their system and may actually be so satisfied that they would not hesitate to get another system of the same brand (whatever brand). Then you have a person that owns Alienware actually turning others away from Alienware. Some dont stop to think of it that way and will even continue to post one sided complaints. They enjoy an Alienware but others shouldnt just because they have had an issue that has long been resolved. I can go on and on... but the real story here is that Its OK to post complaints but please keep them updated.

Since 4 o'clock this morning i have cut a $10000 load of pallet stock on a cmc circle saw. My boss loves me. I do that every day except sunday. usually not at 4 in the morning though cause i filled in for another sawyer today. I'm pretty productive. I think i'll let AW fix my laptop. that's why i got a warranty.as far as a life, I'm a 30 y/o single man with a 4 bedroom house, a 98 Jeep wrangler tj, mint condition 86 fiero gt with under 40000 miles on it, a 2005 chevy pick-up, Two yamaha raptors a 660 and a 700efi and a 4000$ laptop. all paid off except the laptop and 700efi. I go to the bar pick up a chic whenever i want. skinny or fat don't matter. i personaly like the fat ones to stand over me and hit me with thier fat and call me lil' horsie.j/k. Pics? Common show some pics! Especialy of the 86 fiero (red or black? :-D), i love that car. BTW she won't update this post just like 90% of the people that let us hang up and guess wtf is going on. But hey w/e. Also isn't she the girl that played fear on her m7700 while it was on her laps? Wouldn't that screw up the fans intakes? And playing a graphic intense game for more than 15 mins then turning the computer off is one way to burn your computer... everything turns off but the vga and cpu are still very hott.... duh.

i wouldn't recemmend using it on your lap at all. If i got time tomarrow i'll see if my pos camera still works. I love my Fiero. hell i love all my toys. I sold my ski-doo mach-1 and polaris hurricane pwc last summer. not enough snow last couple of years for the mach-1 and the jet ski was getting old.I'm thinking I might sell my 660 raptor in the spring and buy a hard top and maybe a 4 inch lift for my jeep. I just baught my first german car, a Porsche 911. First real sport car! I use to have a 96 mustang gt, fun car! But it ended its life durring a winter couple years ago... blah. My first car was a 83 fiero red. Lasted 4 years then it got stolen... After that one i had a 1990 Camaro, got it white with red stripes. That one i sold and got the 96 mustang. Ended that car in 02. Since then i had (don't laugh) a 02 maxima :S I love sport and muscle cars, something about them just... owns I'v never been into offroad cars/trucks, but they do come in handy when theirs 10 inches of snow on the road! Btw wife wasn't very happy when i told her i got the porsche... but she doesn't complain much she has a honda s2000 convertible (yupp yellow! >_<)
