9300 arrived yesterday, with bad CDRW drive 
I transplanted my NEC 6500A DVDRW from my 8600 to the 9300. Just had to remove the 8600 adapter shell and it fit the 9300 perfectly. To make things square I need a DVDRW face plate which fits a 9300. Anyone have an extra or know what the part number is?
BTW, I'm in process now of clean xp pro install on 9300 with winxp gold disk. For those of you curious, my 9300 came with 3 partitions, #1 holds the Dell hardware diagnostics, #2 op system, and #3 is the Dell restore partition. I ghosted the restore partition, then wiped #2 and #3 during fresh xp install. Installed wireless driver so I could download *32* windows updates
