It's decent, go grab it. I could start pinpoiting how if you added X amount of money you could get this or that feature, but overall it's a good machine and you shouldn't worry.

Have fun with it.

well my desktop Athalon 2600 is 2.0ghz so I don't know if the laptop ones are the same or differnet. Other than that I can't tell you the Athalon vs. pm ghz but a 1.8ghz PM is roughly a 3.0ghz P4 and a 2.0ghz PM around 3.2ghz P4

Clock for clock an athlon 64 and a pentium m are pretty similar, with each doing a little better than the other in certain categories. I guess the real question is if you play games or not, cause if you do that laptop might not meet your standards. Also the screen resolution is a little low for what many prefer at that size, but if its nice then that might make up for the fact its lower res. If you like your laptop then you got a good trade is what I'd say .

thanks for informing me... (ill give you some rep points)... i do *not* in fact plan on playing games! i plan on using it as a daily computer though till i get my other laptop in from dell as seen in my sig... i plan on using that for a daily user then, and letting my mother have this one for xmas!! i think ill like it!! but you never know!!! we made a deal that i had to sign a contract before he ships it out and if i dont like it when it gets here i can just send it back with no problems... i willl be also writing a contract for my computer for him to sign as well!!! i think that is a good idea... then i can get my first heatware review!!!
