i was trying to buy it with DPA then i coudlnt' get approved for no interest
for 12 month so i have to cancel my first order tomorrow morning.
but i spoke to my parents so i'm going to buy with their card and i h ave to
pay them back ASAP. well heres my i9300 ordered tonight.

My unit price was 2,5730.00 dollars +100 sound card
but with 25% coupon i got 643.25 discounted which brought it
down to 2129.75 dollars

another 12% discount from EPP savings. 243.57 dollars
and plus 200 dollars off from coupon
and 25 dollars coupon

subtotal before tax was 1561.18 dollars
w/ tax and shipping it came out to be 1744.23 dolalrs

so 2,573.00 - 1516.18 = 1057 dollars saved..
if i look at this way tho its different amount
200 + 243.57 + 643.25 + 25 = 1111.82 saved.

by the way my tax was 131.00 and i live in ny does it sound lil too much ??

my specs.

media center, 2Ghz, 6800 Go 256mb, wuxga, 512mb Ram, 60Gb 7200rpm, 3/4yr warranty, audigy sound card, bluetooth 2915, carrying case, tv tuner, 8x cd dual, 6 cell battery, carbonfiber cover.

just ordred 2gb transcend ram for 148 plus rebate .

oh yea i spoke to dell personelle and he said i will be receiving 2 50 dollars rebate so .. there is extra 100

by the way thanx guys for all the great infos. w/o this forum I would've paid WHOLE LOT more money ... THANX very very very much
I really really appreciate this forum alot

pretty good deal consider u have 3/4 years of warranty and a sound card and all the other good stuff

you saved $1111.00 and are asking if that's a good deal? No, it's a horrible deal. You got ripped off. I'll help you out and buy it back from you for the price you got it for so you can look for a better deal.

I too cannot get approved for no interest and my credit score is 739. I don't know what kind of criteria they are using????

Sounds like a nice computer and a heck of a deal. Congrats.

I was approved for the card with a $5,000 credit limit but no free financing. I think the rate is something like 17.8% but I've never used the card since I didn't get the financing. Funnyt hing is it's not on my credit report but that might be since I haven't used it yet I've had the card for 16 months.

It just puzzles me that they wouldn't give me the 0% financing....maybe I should call them back? I will pay cash otherwise.

sounds like a decent deal. I just ordered mine today:

2.0GHZ, 1 gig ram, 80 gig HD, WUXGA, 2200 + bluetooth, 256 meg nVidia, DVD Burner, and all the other usual stuff.... it was $1300 after 25% off, EPP discount, $200 coupon the EPP rep gave me and shipping discount. Price before discounts was $2200.

I got the preferred account with no interest for a year on the deal. I had the account back when I got my 8600.

It looks like I am paying about $250 too much for the i9300 I ordered a few days ago through EPP. Is there a special trick to getting these good prices?

My system lists right at $2000. Then there is a $500 discount for Inspirons over $2000 bringing the price to $1500. Then applying the 10% discount through my employer, the price drops to $1350. But this is nowhere near the deal everyone else seems to be getting. Am I missing something?

Thanks tonylee! I cancelled and reordered today and saved $260 bucks. For some reason the EPP page I was on (specific to my employer maybe?) wouldn't let me use the 25% and $200 off coupons, but the posted EPP link did the trick.

I would never get a notebook with payments. I always pay in full for my computers.

I use the preferred account because I always get at least a 2% discount, but then pay it in full on the first statement. I just can't see making payments on ANY computer stuff.
