Hi

Had anyone had any problem your computer just shuts down when you move it or you bump it abit?

Sometimes when I move mine, it just turns itself off! REALLY ANNOYING!

Hmmm, check all the connections, or call AW.

You can look for grounding of the mobo in a desktop pretty easy, but the notebooks are a different story...

It shouldn't shut off from minor bumps obviously, but I wouldn't advise moving it around while the power is on.

Good luck getting it resolved.

Had that problem with my refurbished Toshiba {new 5500 is on order}. The AC power-in plug was not real tight and allowed a disruption of power when jostled. Not a problem when the battery is in. I hope this is all it is.

Thx for your anwsers..but this happens quite frequently for me....with power or battery.
..and I just cant take that I wont be able to have a "mobile" laptop that I cant move around when the power is on.

Maybe I just send it in to AW over Christmas and New year..

Well see...

Anything else I can do before that?
