Help needed with Brightness Control S460.

Guys,

I have a strange problem with my S460.
My S460 dims the display brightness when plugged in and brightens up as soon I remove the A/C cable. It should be other way round right ?
Can anyone help me as to where to change this setting ?

I have exactly same lappy as yours. I'm not sure about your drivers, but try this, right click on background (wallpaper) -> Ndivia display -> laptop display
-> powermizer -> smart dimmer

there you go.. you can make it equal..

You can also change the brightness settings in the "Vaio" tab of the Power Control Panel. Go to Start, then Control Panel, then Power Options. Click the Vaio tab at the top of the window. One option in there should be to set the brightness depending on if it is on AC or battery. Hope this helps!
