After trying unbuntu, fedora core i settled with Knoppix. I don't know why but i liked it. But there is a problem that is bugging me. While in the other ditros i could select my laptops native resolution 1400x1050 (ati 7500) or 1280x whatever and looked fantastic. In knoppix if i do that the screen looks strange. Kinda messed up. Everything appears and dissapears. Somehow spills out. What can i do?? Btw 1024 x 768 is ok but looks very ugly compared to the native one.
I am thinking of installing Kubuntu because of this problem

P.S what are the differences between Kubuntu and Ubuntu? Just the KDE??
