Why are people on eBay bidding those Go 7800 GTX's from a guy in Canada higher then what they could get them directly from Dell plus the cost of professional installation? lol

well not every one knows they call dell and get the 7800gtx for cheap and not every one knows to use coupon to buy dell computer for cheaper than it really is

The guy is posting that Dell direct link that i just posted in all his listings and you dont need a coupon or anything to get it for that price lol. All you have to do is add it to your cart and checkout like any other item.

some people come from countries where 7800GTX's are not provided.

people will pay a thousand dollars for an xbox 360, so what's so surprising?

LOL. So true...

Stupid people with lots of money make the world go round. It's the underlying success of business, as sad as it is

Whats worse is that I was going to pay $1200 for a compaq R4000...... read up on the 9300....found a nice coupon...rest is history.. knowledge is power..
Same reason people would stand in line for hours, even days, to get a Tickle-Me Elmo...

People are stupid.

Lol, the truth hurts...haha

i still don't think anybody that has 6800 go needs to upgrade to 7800 go gtx

plus 500 bucks doesn't worthy

at least for now ...
For the price of the 7800 GTX Go upgrade, I'm half-way towards a completely new desktop. Something that runs Dx10 would be much more tempting.
I would have never gotten my computer without the knowledge of the coupon. NEVER, I paid only 1,257
post #15 of 20
I think some of this could refer to the "How I ordered a 7800gtx go for $259.68" thread further down. C'mon people! Deals are to be had. There is no reason to wait for the upgrade.

you will be amazed by how many rich peope are bidding on ebay. imo if they are that rich, they can't be stupid. they are just not sane.

that is insane, some people just have too much to spend

I think there is one MAJOR thing you all are overlooking.

People bidding on auctions and people actually buying something is two totally differenty things....especially if you're dealing with persons from out of the country. Anyone that sells much on EBay knows what I'm talking about here.

people on ebay dont know much at all. they dont have the "average-NBF's" know how at all.

i also wouldve never bought my lappy without the coupon. but I, unlike some people, searched many laptop forums before i decided. some people are just too lazy to do some research ): its a shame, they are americans haha
