So this has happened twice in the last 24hrs, appears to be random. I was doing some google research and clicked on a couple of the results, then I click the link to a third site and BLACK SCREEN, mouse cursor still shows and is responsive but I can't escape the black screen without powering off via the power button. So I turn off my comp and reboot, upon reboot I'm greeted with a msg that something in the registry was wrong and has been fixed.....so I decide to go back to the same google search results, click on the same site again, and boom BLACK SCREEN again. At this point I figure I will just avoid this site, cause I couldn't reproduce the black screen with anyother link....until a few hours later I was shopping for a xmas present for my mom, I clicked the image of the product to enlarge it, and BLACK SCREEN, again....I use mozilla firefox as my browser if that matters. Can anyone help???
