I just bought Call of Duty and it won't install. Anyne else playing this game on the M6805? Wondering if my videocard could be the reason it will not even let me install.
Thanks

Hmmm most software will let you install it no matter what your specs are, even if it is below the requirements, and the m6805 should have no problem meeting these. Are you sure your not using a limited account? May be you got some defective disks? Perhaps you dont have video drivers installed for the videocard or missing directX 9b... you might want to try running dxdiag just to make sure everything is working correctly.

Best of luck,
James

Thanks for your help. It turns out it will install and run if you can guess where to click to find the next and proceed buttons. Graphics were kind of corrupted while trying to install but seems to run fineafter installing. Weird! Any thoughts?
Thanks again

Reinstall the via chipset drivers. Or uninstall/reinstall if you have them. You need the chipset drivers for the graphics card because most games dont run if AGP acceleration in DX9 is disabled.

This seems to be an issue with Call of Duty's installation program. I've experienced the missing buttons as well.
