Raid Option

Hey guys,

Im just curious, I'm pretty sure its possible, if I configure a laptop without raid, will it be possible to do so afterwards as an upgrade without shipping it back to AW? Thanks in advance for your replies.

yeah, I've done mine without raid, from what I understand you only need to reinstall (maybe not) and install the raid drivers after configuring it in bios.

I'd call and check because there are differences. They may send you ex.(ICH6 or ICH6R) "R" standing for raid. So it woiuldn't hurt to ask.
