Z70V Sound quality with headphones...

Thread Starter
Ok, So I have the Z70V and when I listen to iTunes with a pair of headphones...I here cracks and pops in the audio every now and then (every 15 seconds maybe?) They are very subtle but I notice them and its annoying. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so is there a fix for it? Do the settings in the control panel for the sound card matter? I noticed that theres like 44.1kHz and 92kHz or something...

HELP!

THANKS

Sound Quality of Z70Va

If you're like me, you probably were a bit disappointed with the sound quality of the Z70 with headphones. After searching the forums, I can across a one that suggested buying a USB sound card. The card is called the Turtle Beach Advantage Micro. If you buy this card and pair of good headphones (Bose Triports), your headphone sound quality will be improved greatly.

the kHz settings are for SPDIF, which you are not using if you're listening with headphones.

USB isnt as good as PCMCIA. If you have the money, pickup an Audigy ZS or an Echo Indigo from Ebay.com
