Z70V Sound quality with headphones...

Ok, So I have the Z70V and when I listen to iTunes with a pair of headphones...I here cracks and pops in the audio every now and then (every 15 seconds maybe?) They are very subtle but I notice them and its annoying. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so is there a fix for it? Do the settings in the control panel for the sound card matter? I noticed that theres like 44.1kHz and 92kHz or something...

HELP!

THANKS

Problem with my z83v is i get bursts of static when i change the volume...

About what you said about different frequencies, i have no idea. Try playing around with them and see what happens... it may fix the problem though

it also could be a problem with your headphones...

Might sound dumb, but you sure it's not the MP3's? Poor encoding can cause weird sounds. Try playing an audio CD and see if the same thing happens. That will rule out your headphones. Update drivers maybe. My Z70V sounds excellent with headphones (Grado SR-60).
