Looking for new ASUS laptop

I recently bought a ACER Ferrari 4000 and I am very unhappy with it so I am thinking of selling it to get ASUS. But i need to know what models I have to chose from I do not care if I have to import it as long as it is still in English. My only concrens are that it be AMD perferably Turion. And that it have a decent nVidia GPU somin PCI-e with decated memory at least 128MB none that turbochace crap either decated only. So please help me out at post links and model number if ya can.

Asus has hardly any powerful Turion notebooks at the moment... but they do have a couple:

I been looking for the A6Km I have used a A6U and liked the caseing and genral feel of the notebook. But I am conserned about the GPU the 7300go whats the decated memory size really on that?? Also what cards do it compare too? And also any idea where to buy?

The dedicated memory...I'm not sure. It's either 64 or 128... I'm assuming 128, but don't take my word for it.
the GeForce 7300 would be comparable to the ATI x600 or GeForce Go 6400, I think. Maybe a little better...but not by much

i curently run a 5700 Ultra in my desktop I am really looking for a mobile GPU that preformaes thesame if not better than this card.

Yeah...I assume the 7300 will perform about the same as your 5700.

Well, Asus isn't bringing any more new notebooks into the US until February, so it's going to take a while, if it will sold here at all.

Like stated in orignal post I don't care if I have to Import so links to buy the A7Dc would be nice. ASUS never brings the good models to USA it seems.

Does ASUS use differant model numbers for there Assumble and Built on ASUS laptops?

All(current) built in models begin with a Z... although the built on models and ensemble models are sometimes exactly the same
e.g W3A = Z63a, Z70Va = M6Va, Z83 = A7 series, etc...

As far as I know, Asus does not make any tablet pcs. I think the smallest screen they make is a 12 inch

why dont you wait for the w7v ( i think it was that modelnumber) ...it is launched in februar... ati radeon x1600 and turion mt 40 .. that rocks the house

I found info about the A7G but with an X1600 but its an INtel CPU
Anyone know aobut the one with AMD Turion please post links please I wnat to check this thing out.
