Thats not much of a jump to switch over to omegas, Ive done 3dmark benchmarks and then done it again right after doing the first benchmark and had higher jumps in 3dmarks then that

Also in other news !!! (new Q4 Patch V1.05 beta helps out HT users)
Performance Enhancement for dual core processors and Intel(r)
Hyper-Threading technology:
This update enables Quake 4 to take advantage of the Hyper-Threading
technology of Intel(r) Dual core processors. Players who have computer
systems with this processor will notice significant performance gains
in Quake 4. With the update, systems with a single core processor which
uses the Hyper-Threading technology will have a performance jump of 25%
compared to non Hyper-threaded processors. Dual core processors with
Hyper-Threading technology will see a performance increase of up to 87%.
In short, systems with this technology will see the game run much faster
than ever before.
about bloody time something used HT !

This is not from 5.12 Release Notes and I doubt Omega implemented HTT support alone, on top of 5.12. Where did you get it from?

wow.. 5183 3dmark 05 score on a mr9800?.. thats insane..props.. 9800 smoking a stock geforce 6800 go ultra

these are lockin up on mine.
runnin ATI tray tools specifically..... sometimes when its run its ok sometimes it locks pc up completely....just like the 5.10 omega released one did...i never tried 5.11 omegas.
Quake4 playin online on my isp`s server locks up after a minute also but i think thats something else..

Do you have radlinker running at the same time? Cause I had some weird stuff happening when I had both radlinker and ati tray tools.

no i completely cleaned my system.
5.6 omegas was last omegas with ATT that worked 100% for me

ok i reinstalled em, can play q4 fine as b4, but soon as i do something like run att (only sometimes tho) or with it loaded, goto advanced display properties it hangs. Can move mouse but thats it, no ctrl-alt-del nothing. Maybe cuz im using server but its deff an ATT thing as games play fine.
i`ll just use omegas without ATT and use radclock for overclocks.

I had the same problem until I got a response from Ray Adams, the author of ATT.

For mobile version of Radeon you should disable I2C procedures in ATT atitray.ini file.

Ahh...it feels good to be back after a long time....hiya all...and thanks for the heads up on the Omega drivers. I am still at 5.9!

disabling I2C did the trick it seems, ive run ATT countless times and no lockups... argh, a quick note in the installer would help, how many mobile users use omegas, a lot i bet.
