Can somebody please help me. I bought a brand new acer aspire 1694 WLMi about a month ago. Recently I have discovered that my notebook developed a cracked hinge on the back side of my screen. The crack was small in the beginning but grew for now only in length. Does anyone know if it is possible to repair the cracked hinge within the warranty? I read that acer puts notebooks to several torture tests and they open and close the hinges 20.000 times. I am using the notebook for business as well as for private use and it happens that I open and close my notebook about 20 times a day. So up to now I opened and closed the notebook for about 800 times and it cracked?
Please help me cause I would like to know what to do! Thanks!!!
