Sorry but I'm not sure which modle exactly is the laptop, but it has 9700 mobility, and when I connect it to my TV it works but without colors.

i made sure I used the S-video-to-composite converter that came with the laptop.

i tried switching the TV's system from PAL to NTSC and all the other available systems but it still didnt work. My 9800PRO on my desktop works perfectly on the same TV.
