Anyone know where I can buy a Torx T8 screwdriver?

I know you can get one online, but I was wondering for retail locations cause I don't wanna pay like 7 dollars shipping for a 4 or 5 dollar tool. I've checked Home Depot and WalMart with no luck (smallest they had was T10). Any ideas?

I got this nice little 12 in 1 from Sears. It includes a torx 8 and small phillips with different sizes.

I HAVE this, and I've used it to install a WIAG-01 in an Inspiron 6000. Do NOT use it on your laptop. The Phillips head is very pointed and liked to slip out of the groove, threatening to strip the screw. The bits in general like to wiggle around in the tool slot, giving you an unsteady hand.

It's fine when you're screwing with desktops where screws are a dime a dozen, but when you're working on a laptop and all the screws you have are the ones in the chassis already, get something more steady and less prone to slippage, 'cause this thing ain't it.

The Torx bits are flat, so there's little chance of slippage there....but the Phillips head is iffy.

Someone told me that a T9 torx will be a better fix on the GPU heatsink assembly. I'm going to probably check out some tools this week at Sears.

Ditto the Home Depot kit, made by Husky.

Just go to Sears or some place that sells tools and look at one RubberDuck.

Use a flat head of the right size and buy yourself a victory beverage when you're done doing whatever mod you did with the two bucks you saved

My cheapo Costco tool set came with a 10 torx bit and I managed to do the operation with it... bit of a pain though.

i have a torx ten, if i cant find a torx 8 or 9, ill just use that.

T10 just wouldn't fit when I tried it, must just be down to slight manufacturing variations...

Before I got any torx drivers I did like Mr K6, found a tight fitting blade driver and it worked like a charm.
